The 2016 ballot for the Bethlehem Food Co-Op board presents candidates from a wealth of backgrounds and experiences. As you think about who you'd like to elect as leaders to move the Co-Op through this vital phase, get to know the nominees a little more here!

Announcing this year's Bethlehem Food Co-Op board nominees! As we move into a crucial time for our co-op's development, one of the most important things our member-owners can do is show up to VOTE for the leaders who will take on the important work of location selection and capital campaign. 

Making fresh, local food accessible to all Christmas City residents is at the core of the Bethlehem Food Co-op’s mission to bring a community-owned grocery store to the city’s downtown. Fran Molinari, owner of Molinari’s restaurant, shares that passion and is partnering with the Co-Op on a new scholarship program to help families on the Southside take ownership of the Co-Op.

The Molinari’s Southside Membership Scholarship Program is available specifically to Southside Bethlehem residents. 

The Bethlehem Food Co-op is excited to host its August Mixer at the new Domaci Home store located on Main Street in downtown Bethlehem. Join us for this free event on Sunday, August 21 from 1-3pm.

On Wednesday, July 13 from 5:30-7:30pm, we'll be enjoying 4 C's (Co-Op, Crepes, Cocktails & Craig (Thatcher!)) at Cachette Bistro & Creperie. We caught up with Cara Paredes from Cachette to ask her about her restaurant, small business in the Lehigh Valley, and her thoughts about the Co-Op.

It's that time again! In preparation for the October 3 membership meeting & election, nominations are now being accepted for three three-year terms on the Bethlehem Food Co-Op board of directors. Nominations are accepted through August 29.

On Saturday, May 14, 2016, I had the privilege to represent the Bethlehem Food Co-op at the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance’s “Co-UP” teach-in held at Temple University. 

On Thursday, May 19 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, try Colony Meadery’s award-winning meads at our next Bethlehem Food Co-op Member Event inside the Moravian Book Shop. This is a free event that is open to the public.
