One of the best things about a co-op is that it is owned and operated by the community it serves, meaning that the store will truly reflect the needs and desires of its members. This fact also means that success of the co-op depends on the involvement of its members. There are opportunities for each and every member to contribute and get involved - from serving on a committee, to distributing flyers, to staffing an info table at an event, to writing a grant proposal, to entering data, to (eventually) building our store. There is truly something for everyone!
