A dream that started in 2011 with a quest for a single red pepper in downtown Bethlehem is becoming a reality. The Bethlehem Food Co-op, a grassroots organization of volunteers and members is on a mission to open the Lehigh Valley’s only community-owned grocery store.
We set out to sign up 300 members by 3/30, and our community rallied to help us shatter that goal. Now, let's CELEBRATE on 3/30!
In honor of the Facebook post that started it all you are invited to join us for an exclusive Red Pepper Party!
Come celebrate with your fellow co-op members on Wednesday evening March 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for a Happy Hour party at Social Still on Southside.
Check out what we have planned:
- The first five new members to join during the event will receive a free cocktail from Social Still and a free Co-op t-shirt.
- Social Still owner Adam Flatt will offer a tour of the distillery.
- Social Still’s chef will create a special red pepper-themed dish for you to order.
- Social Still owner Kate Flatt will create a special Red Pepper cocktail to you to sip.
