Gardening Workshop & Public Meeting

Join us for our monthly public meeting to learn about the cooperative movement (this month's topic will be Open & Voluntary Membership) and hear business updates from the board & committee members. Newcomers can break out into a co-op 101 group in the beginning of the meeting to learn the basics of what we are working on. You'll also have the opportunity to join the co-op, sign up to volunteer for events, or purchase a tshirt.

SPECIAL this month: At 7:30, following the business meeting, we'll have a guest presentation on Organic Kitchen Gardening. Jenn McCracken is an organic farmer, consultant, advocate, writer and lecturer based in beautiful Bucks County, PA. For over 25 years, she has loved growing her own organic food. For over a decade, her company The Turnip Truck taught local families, foodies and chefs how to grow gourmet organic gardens successfully. Today, she blogs and lectures about her experiences in and out of the field. She speaks to garden clubs, schools and community groups about organic gardening, heirloom vegetables, local food systems, and our society's awakening food awareness.

We are so happy to be able to offer this opportunity! While this meeting is open to the public, we do encourage attendees who are not yet co-op members to make a free-will contribution towards the development of the Bethlehem Food Co-Op.
